Alter Bridge News 04/03/09
Hello Alter Bridge Nation,
We have some good news. First, Myles is down in Miami as we speak overseeing the final audio of our new Live DVD and we will be joining him this weekend to check it out and give our final approval. We still don’t have a release date yet but we will let you know as soon as we get one. Word from Myles is that everything sounds great thus far and we are excited to hear the final product.
We have also had word from the director of our DVD, Dan Catullo, that we will have a preview clip ready to go up on Monday. That comes from the man himself so cross your fingers and we assure you that as soon as we get it we will put it up for you to view.
Most importantly, our last writing session was fantastic and a few new songs were born. We now have six songs that we feel are “album ready” at this point, so it seems we are close to having half the album written. We look forward to what the future sessions will bring. We’ll let you know when another one starts.

What is up with this “Creed” stuff! Alter Bridge rocks and you guys had to eat a sh%t sandwich when the original lead singer went brzerk! You found a great lead singer and you guys have produced far better music since the creation of Alter Bridge. The old lead singer of Creed cannot touch the vocals of the lead singer of Alter Bridge. I just hope that in the future I will see more stuff from Alter Bridge.

I’m so pumped for the new album please release a release date soon i hope u guys put more bass lines where u can actually hear Brian because he is one of the best bassist i ever heard other then tht ur guyz music is perfect Mark’s awesome guitar riffs and solo’s are great also he’s really good with his clean riffs to myles voice just makes the songs amazing and Scotts beats r great but i dont no to much about drums so im not guna judge. Good luck on the finishing progress tho and plz try to make a song as epic as Blackbird tht song kick ass

I loved Creed but I do like (scratch that) I love Alter Bridge. The creativity of all the artists has blossomed like they’ve been freed like the Blackbird. Mark Tremonti is my favorite guitarist of the 21st century. It’s rare nowadays for a guitarist to make his axe weep and wail like he can make it. When my friends say there are no more great guitar players, I point to Mark as the proof that they’re wrong. I can hardly wait until your next CD since I’ve driven my kids crazy with all the times I’ve listened to Blackbird and One Day Remains. I know you guys take your songwriting very seriously because of the awesome quality of each song.
Keep it up! You’ve made a lifelong fan out of me!

thankyou alterbridge a truly amazing act with unlimited talent.I saw you guys at portsmouth guildhall united kingdom and have been addicted to your music ever since myles kennedy you are a truly great singer you sing with total passion and conviction.The way you sang blackbird and the way mark tremonti rolls those guitar sounds out inspires me to make music.i have bought 4 guitars since that concert got tuition and spend every spare hour practising vocals and guitar.My son is 2 and already one of your dedicated fans every time i play your music he head bangs he,s born to rock ha ha.I,m looking forward to seeing you on tour with your next album.The way you bring your songs together is magical i have no doubt you guys are the best band to walk this earth.keep rocking guys yeeeehhh.

Hey guys, love all that you’ve been doing. You’ve got a great mix now with myles and have been to all your shows that you’ve put on in minneapolis. I heard a rumor that creed was getting back together. if that’s true, where does that leave alter bridge? mark, you’ve put so much work into this new project, i just want to see you guys rockin for years to come.

I love you guys…please…please…please…release a new album. Blackbird touched me in ways I cant explain…every single song brought back memories to a time in my life. And I could listen to Myle’s voice all day long.
