Quick “Alter Bridge III” Recording Update (with photo)
Hello Alter Bridge Nation,
Not much to report other than that we are still working hard, recording our third album. As of today (Monday, March 15th) we are done recording the drums, bass and all of the rhythm guitar parts. Mark is now recording his lead guitar parts (he is through 10 of 15 of them) and, as of last night, Myles has completed his singing on 5 of the 17 songs that we are recording. Again, only the best of those 17 songs will make the album and we are going to hold off on describing what we are creating until the recording is finished. We can tell you that the decision process for what songs will make the album is going to be extremely difficult but we will cross that bridge (no pun intended) when we get there.
We will update you again soon and we will leave you with a photo of Myles singing in the studio…

Put as many as possible on them for the sake of ears with good taste everywhere.
You have nothing to be ashamed of with any of your music as you guys have already left such a GREAT mark on Rock music with your UNPARRALLED talent. This bands music has influenced and brought me more joy than I could ever describe. If Mark sat at a combo amp for 5 hours and sold it as an MP3 or a Box set in stores i’d have MY COPY! If this were European history Mark’s studio time laying down those leads is the Magna Carta.
No one’s got anything on Alter Bridge if you ask me, and yes i’m proudly biased!
Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! is how all us Alter Bridge fans feel about anything the band puts out there.
