BAND ANNOUNCE TOUR IN OCTOBER WITH SPECIAL GUEST HALESTORM

ALTER BRIDGE are thrilled to announce they will be returning to Europe for a sixteen-date tour this October and November. The upcoming tour marks the band’s first time back in Europe since November 2011. In the interim, guitarist Mark Tremonti released his debut solo record All I Was, singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy returned fronting Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and drummer Scott Phillips teamed up with friends in Sevendust to form Projected.  Alter Bridge toured extensively in support of their last album ABIII, released in 2010.  That tour was immortalized in the band’s now legendary sold-out performance at London’s Wembley Arena in November 2011 and released as the Alter Bridge: Live At Wembley DVD. Currently, the band - completed by bassist Brian Marshall - are hard at work writing/recording their new album, set for release via Roadrunner Records this September.

The world wide release is now scheduled for all territories (US, Canada, Europe, Australia) for March 26, 2012.  The US and Canada moved to be in line with the rest of the world, rather than release on the 27th

In the US, the DVD will not be available at Target or Wal-Mart.  However, Best Buy and all other retailers will be carrying it.  We are projecting that most of the retailers will sell out very quickly, as their initial orders are low.  Therefore, the only way to guarantee you get your copy during release week is to order from Amazon.com or the EMI store.  If you order on Amazon now, not only will you get an additional 3 bonus audio tracks, your product will be on your doorstep on release day

BAND WILL FILM MOMENTOUS SHOW ON NOVEMBER 29th IN LONDON

(November 9, 2011 – New York, NY) – Alter Bridge are gearing up to play what will be one of the biggest headline shows of their career and all of it will be captured live on DVD for anyone who can’t be there.  The band will be filming their performance from their upcoming soon to be sold-out performance at Wembley Arena on November 29th for release in 2012. Long time Alter Bridge Director Daniel E Catullo III (Live From Amsterdam, One By One, Isolation, Webisodes, etc) has been brought in to direct by "The Dude Films", a new production and distribution company with offices in Laguna Beach, CA and Maui, Hawaii headed up by "One By One" Executive Producer Stuart Margolis and Executive Producer Chris LaBabera.  Lionel Pasamonte who Produced the band's last DVD "Live From Amsterdam" will be producing with Catullo

Alter Bridge is touring in support of their latest release ABIII which has spawned the hit singles “Isolation” and “Ghost of Days Gone By.”  “Isolation” went all the way to the top of the Active Rock chart finding a home at #1.  Alter Bridge also recently won Fuse TV’s The Battle of the Fans: Rock.  The website hosted a poll to see which band had the best fans and, in the end, it was the AB Nation who took the victory.  The band was up against the likes of Three Days Grace, Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold and took on 30 Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park in the finals.  With over 7 million votes cast over 4 weeks, Alter Bridge and their fans came out on top.  Alter Bridge has also made appearances recently on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live in support of ABIII. The band also won the the Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time by Guitarist Magazine for the “Blackbird” solo from the previous album of the same name.
